Unit 11 Level 3 (Upper Intermediate- Advanced) The future perfect

Do you know how to use the most common future tenses?

1) Watch this video  and this video which contains some songs with sentences in the future.

Please, listen carefully and sing along. It's the best way to learn the sounds.

Do you still have doubts about how to use the most common future tenses? Please, check level 2 of this Unit to review them.

Remember: for you grammar is easy, but not the listening and the speaking, so you must repeat the simplest sentences over and over.

2) Watch these videos about the Future Perfect.

Video 1
Video 2

3) Read the theory about the Future Perfect and do the exercises.

4) Practice makes perfect!

Exercise 1
Exercise 2 (Please, scroll down the page to find the exercises on the Future Perfect)
Exercise 3
Exercise 4

4) Use the sentences from the above exercises to practice with your language exchange. Remember: If you don't have a language exchange (or a teacher) you're wasting your time, you'll never learn to speak English.

5) Let's learn some vocabulary. Extract all the words you don't know from this text
Look them up in an English-English dictionary as this one.

6) Listen and read this story. You should learn all the vocabulary and practice pronunciation. And, for the most daring, read this article from The Economist.

7) Finally, write a story of about 200/250 words using sentences with the Future Perfect. You can use examples from the videos and exercises above.
If you have done all the exercises, then you've scored a 10! Congratulations!

Hola Crtl+T.

Gracias por tu aporte. Efectivamente, en el enlace aparecían algunos ejercicios intercalados que no corresponden al contenido de la lección.

Ya lo hemos cambiado.

Muchas gracias.
