I´m an English teacher without the degree (I`m in career, the first of 4 years at Ipa in Uruguay )

hello, en esta unidad he practicado con el video 2 (The daily english show) y he encontrado una pronunciación de las palabras:
CUTTING, HOT, HAT, en la que las "tes" se convierten prácticamente en "eses"
Supongo que es correcto y que el video ayuda a reconocer distintas pronunciaciones posibles pero, si tengo que hablar yo, ¿con cuál me quedo: "t" o "s"?
